Professional Development where teacher mental health is the curriculum
What if you actually felt better after Professional Development?
At Teacher Talk, we’ve developed our own flavor of Professional Development that helps teachers gain a better understanding of their own mental health and how to cope with stress throughout the school year.
Instead of yet another PD workshop that teachers dread, schools can invest in teacher mental health by giving it the time it deserves.
In Teacher Talk Group Professional Development, teachers walk away with concrete skills to understand their own mental health and address symptoms of anxiety and burnout. And because no workshop can accomplish everything you need, we also provide teachers and schools with additional resources to use throughout the year.
In Teacher Talk Professional Development, we work with you to…
Identify and practice coping skills for symptoms of anxiety and burnout
Learn how to use these skills during the school day and in your own life
Create a plan to achieve balance that pairs with the rhythm of the school year
Hi, I’m Molly.
I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and founder of Teacher Talk. As a former school social worker, I saw first-hand how challenging of a job my teacher colleagues faced every day. I’m excited to work closely with teachers again, and help them enjoy longer, more fulfilling careers.
